Washing Dishes

For care of all kitchen utensils, hand wash only in warm soapy water. Never wash in dishwasher.

For care of bowls and other wood lathe-turned items, a simple dry dusting is best. Products are finished with a friction wax that seals natural wood oils. Harsh chemicals or other household cleaners could dull or damage finish.

All items are food safe and designed for use.  Should problems arise, please contact us for help.

Care Instructions for Most of Our Products

Where do the exotic woods come from?

The wood blanks I use to turn each product come from all over the world. Africa, South America, Central America, and the United States are all locations where you can find the trees this wood comes from.

Are there refills available for the turned pens?

The answer is yes. In the webshop are items to order refills. They come in packs of five and ink color is black.  You can choose the style according to the pen you purchased.

There are refills for twist pens as well as fountain pens.  If you need help. please reach out to us.

How do I change the refill in my lathe turned pen?

Simply pull the clip or top half of the pen from the bottom half. Pens are turned with a brass tubing to allow the pen mechanics to function properly. It fits snuggly, so pull firmly. Then simply unscrew the ink cartridge and replace. Finally slide the clip or top half of the pen back over the twist mechanism.
